The winemaker behind QARE WINE is Josef Watzl, a German oenologist with deep expertise in viticulture and years of international experience. He received his education at two of Germany’s leading wine universities — Geisenheim University and Justus Liebig University.

Josef has worked both in Europe and Armenia, always seeking the fine balance between structure and soul. His goal is to craft wines that faithfully express their terroir, while achieving technical precision and harmony.
