The story of QARE WINE doesn’t begin in a cellar — it begins in the soil. In the sun-drenched Ararat Valley, where people have been cultivating the land and making wine for thousands of years. We chose to breathe new life into that ancient tradition by planting classic French grape varieties in Armenia’s volcanic and stony soil.

Our vision is simple yet bold:
To craft high-quality wine that speaks for its land — without needing words.
Wine that reflects our passion, our care, and our honest labor.
And above all, wine that carries the character of our homeland.

Why QARÉ (Stone)?
Because our vines are rooted in stone.
These stones hold the heat of the sun through day and night, nurturing grapes with strength and depth.
They shape the soul of our wine — and they became the heart of our name.

We don’t aim to imitate.
We aim to create something rare — a wine defined by its grapes, its land, and the people who bring it to life.

Today, QARE WINE is at the beginning of its journey. But even in our very first bottle, you can hear the voice of Armenian stone, sunshine, and a desire to be known by the world.

Stone & Soil.

QARÉ means "stone" in Armenian. Our vineyard lies in Aratashen, in Armenia's sunlit Ararat Valley, on deep volcanic soils scattered with stones that hold the warmth of the sun.

We planted classic French varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot - on this rugged land not because it was easy, but because we believed in its potential. Our goal was never volume. Only authentic wines with character, made in limited numbers.

Every vine is hand-tended. Every bottle carries the story of a small estate where French elegance meets Armenian stone and sun.

In 2025, QARÉ Red 2023 received Grand Gold at the Frankfurt International Trophy.
